SoHo afternoon program provides increasing
formal intermediate training in ballet and modern
dance, prep for pointe, repertory and performance. Mon and Wed focus on ballet. Tues/ Thurs vary within the semester to include fitness, prep for pointe, or modern. Open Studio presentation
in May. Designed to grow with and challenge participating students. In some years, the year-long Choreography Seminar is offered for teen students who desire to explore their ideas in movement.

||Tuesdays - Offered in Fall, 4:30-6pm
|Mixed level, Dance Basics approach designed to promote healthy, dynamic dance experience. A mix of body conditioning and cardio exercises, floor and
ballet barre, long movement phrases.
CHOREOGRAPHY / TECHNIQUE FOR TEENS (Winter only)
|Tuesdays - Winter/ Spring
Ages 12-18, by evaluation. Vigorous,
adventurous, vocabulary-building for a busy teen. (intermediate+ level). The 2-hour classes combine two objectives: RKB technique and
long-phrase classes, with learning and performance
of student choreography. Develops confidence, self-awareness, self-discipline. Punctuality and attendance consistency required.
Dress code: dancewear, leotard, tights, neat attire.

public performance opportunities (winter only) in
Teen Festivals in the NYC environs. Intermediate/ Advanced dancers by evaluation.
Additional rehearsals in weeks leading up to performances.
