Nile solo


NILE BAKER originally from California, moved to Michigan and trained at the O’Day School of Dance in Detroit with Sergey Rayevskiy at the Academy of Russian Classical Ballet in Novi, at Wayne State University,  and the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He holds a BFA from the Ailey School/Fordham University.  Nile is currently performing at the Metropolitan Opera in productions of Carmen, Don Giovanni, Rigoletto, Pince Igor, and Rusalka. Nile also works with Bradley Shelver Contemporary Dance Theater and Indelible Dance.

He has toured with RKB since 2012 during its summer programs in the North Country, and has appeared with the Company in its annual performances at City Center Studios, in SoHo in RKB's Nutcracker Highlights, and as an RKB Guest Artist in the role of Grand Pas. His RKB repertory includes Apayaana, Filigree, Turbulence, Dispossessed, Cascade and Desire.



RICCARDO BATTAGLIA, Riccardo Battaglia (Pescara, Italy) began dancing at the age of eight at Scuola D’Arte New Step in his hometown. He is a three-time winner of the “Expressions” competition held in Florence as part of the Danzainfiera event and also won the Tip Tap Show competition in Rome. Mr. Battaglia trained at The Ailey School as a scholarship student, where he performed in the 2011 and 2012 Ailey at the Apollo galas. He has worked with choreographers including Matthew Rushing, Darrell Grand Moultrie, Robert Battle, Dwight Rhoden, Kate Skarpetowska, Manuel Vignoulle and, Elisa Monte Dance and performed with Ailey II ArchDance, Lydia Johnson Dance, Earl Mosley's Diversity of Dance, and CelloPointe. He is now on the faculty at The Ailey Extension.

Gio Turb

GIORGIA BOVO from Biela Italy, trained at Scuola del Balletto di Toscana, in Florence. In the U.S. she has danced with Armitage Gone! Dance, the Metropolitan Opera, the Francesca Harper Project, Indelible, Bradley Shelver Contemporary Dance, Collective Body Dance Lab and Untitled/Collective. Giorgia joined RKB in 2007. She has danced in many RKB’s annual Nutcracker Ballet Highlights since 2007, appearing in the lead roles of Snow Queen, Sugar Plum Fairy, Marzipan, and originating RK's Arabian and Dewdrop solos. She was part of the original casts of RKB's unique runway shows Design-into-Dance.

Her RKB repertoire includes Writing in Water, Desire, The Travelers, Long Time Passing, Apayaana, Wilderness Suite, Turbulence, Filigree. Dispossessed, Cascade and Desire




JOSHUA CHRISTOPHER from Michigan, has a BFA from North Carolina School of the Arts, with a short exchange with the Hungarian National Ballet Academy.  He has performed with Kansas City Ballet, MOMIX, The Metropolitan Opera, South African Ballet Theatre, BalletX, Ballet NY, Dances Patrelle, Ballet Tucson, Lucinda Childs Dance, Peter Kyle Dance, John-Mark Owen Presents, Lustig Dance Theatre, Roxey Ballet, Eglevsky Ballet, New York Theatre Ballet, and The Gelsey Kirkland Ballet. Mr. Christopher has worked in directing and choreographing capacities for the musicals The Blue Flower (Second Stage) and Venice (Public Theater) and a new version of The Nutcracker for Flat Rock Playhouse, and as creative director for Catapult Entertainment.   2016 marks his second season with Rebecca Kelly Ballet.

His RKB repetory includes Cascade, La Belle and Le Bad Boy and Desire.


Erin penche

ERIN GINN was trained in Kingsport, TN and the Walnut Hill School in Natick, MA. She was a Junior competitor at the 2002 International Ballet Competition in Jackson, and danced with Cincinnati Ballet as an apprentice. She holds a BS from Indiana University in Ballet Performance with an Outside Field in Communication and Culture. Erin has danced with SensDance, Felice Lesser Dance Theater, Eryc Taylor Dance, Connecticut Ballet, Columbia City Ballet, Bristol Ballet.

Erin has appeared with Rebecca Kelly Ballet since 2008 in many projects including the development of Writing in Water, and numerous RKB Highlights from the Nutcracker Ballet. In 2015 she joins RKB as part of the ensemble for the Company's 34th Onstage Performance Program in the Adirondack Mountains at the Lake Placid Center for the Arts, and part of the original cast for Cascade.

Erin is a certified Pilates Mat instructor and teaches in New York City.

piccone ALLISON PICCONE is originally from Blackwood, NJ. She trained at Princeton Ballet School under Douglas Martin. She started her professional career at American Repertory Ballet, where she performed roles such as Lead Arabian and Lead Spanish in The Nutcracker. She appeared in last year's preview performance of "Cascade" with Rebecca Kelly Ballet at City Center Studio in 2015. She joins RKB in 2016 for its annual summer tour to the Adirondack Mountains and where she will be performing Cascade and Desire.

THERESE MIYOSHI WENDLER from Honolulu, Hawaii, trained in Phoenix, AZ with Nina Marlow, and The Joffrey Ballet in NYC. She has since worked with Ballet Metropolitan of Caracas, Venezuela, Ballet International, Ballet Hawaii, Victoria Ballet Theatre, Connecticut Ballet, Ballet Jorgen Canada, and Frances Patrelle and Mathew Brookoff. Therese joined RKB in 2003. Her extensive RKB repertory includes principal roles in the original cast of Jose's Dream, Silver Circles, and Air, along with Reves, Spice Suite, Drums, The Travelers, Jibun Jishin, Those Who Must Be Kept, Waters. Desire, La Belle and Le Bad Boy, Apayaana, Turbulence, Filigree, Carmen Adagio, Cascade and Desire

Therese has appeared frequently in RKB's annual Highlights of the Nutcracker appearing as Kelly's Snow Queen, and as the Sugar Plum Fairy.

Therese teaches in RKB Intensives and Variations Program, and provides private coaching. She stages Kelly's youth ballets for RKB's Onstage summer programs. She also teaches independently in the NYC metropolitan area.
